Keynote speakers – Todd Maki, EPRI

Todd Maki is a Project Manager at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI). He is responsible for managing EPRI’s sustainability work, which includes a sustainability interest group that comprises the largest group of electric companies committed to the goal of collaboratively advancing and benchmarking sustainability efforts within their companies. Maki is also developing new research projects that balance environmental, economic and social objectives while at the same time engaging multiple industries and stakeholders as well as a variety of programs within EPRI.
Before joining EPRI in August of 2009, Maki was an engineering program manager at Sun Microsystems, where he was responsible for managing the initial program to implement Energy Star standards for Sun’s x86 servers. Prior to that, Maki worked as a financial analyst at Citigroup Investment Banking, where he conducted research and financial analysis in the technology and cleantech sectors, including creating a database of emerging companies within developing energy market segments.
Maki received his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from California Polytechnic State University, where his studies emphasized entrepreneurial and financial engineering. Maki is also a certified LEED Accredited Professional.
